KUNA, Idaho (CBS2) — Update Kuna Police identified the suspect in the vandalism of Christmas decorations in the Mineral Springs area. Original story According to a Facebook post, homeowners in the Mineral Springs area and numerous other subdivisions had their blow-up Christmas decorations damaged on Dec. 30. NEW YORK (AP) — Elton John’s musical about televangelist Tammy Faye Bakker is coming to Broadway from London. “Tammy Faye” will land in New York City during the 2024-25 season, producers said Friday. John wrote the music, while Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears penned the lyrics. The musical was nominated for four 2023 Olivier Awards, including best musical, but lost the musical crown to “Standing at the Sky’s Edge.” The story is by James Graham with direction by Rupert Goold. HHS launches syphilis strategy amid rising cases

Public health officials are sounding the alarm on new Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data that shows rapidly increasing rates of sexually transmitted infections as the Biden administration announced new actions to slow the spread of syphilis. The CDC data, released Tuesday as part of its 2022 STI Surveillance Report, shows more than 2.5 million documented cases of chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis in the United States. Chlamydia and gonorrhea are the two most frequently occurring forms of STIs, accounting for more than 90 percent of the 2022 cases, the data showed.
